At Heraeus Electro-Nite we Continue with our Training Offering for Foundries

Training

We successfully conducted another Metallurgical Intensive Training on the 29th and 30th of November at our offices in Mönchengladbach.

This two-day lecture covered a wide range of topics, providing valuable training to all participants.

The Key Areas of Focus Included:

  • Building a strong foundation in the metallurgy of cast iron

  • Applying thermodynamics in the context of cast iron metallurgy

  • Exploring the techniques of casting iron inoculation

  • Understanding the fundamentals and best practices of thermal analysis

  • Gaining insights into practical process control strategies

  • Exploring the latest solutions and advancements in Foundry 4.0

The training audience consisted of foundry managers, engineers (specializing in foundry, quality, processes), as well as operators from the melting shop and production teams.

Our primary objective was to ensure that all participants, regardless of their background, gained a solid understanding of cast iron metallurgy while providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge. We also placed a significant emphasis on introducing tools, such as thermal analysis, that can greatly facilitate improved process control.

The interactions, discussions, and positive feedback we received were truly inspiring and serve as a motivational force to continue pushing forward.

Thank you to all the participants for their active engagement and enthusiastic involvement. Their contributions made this training a resounding success!

More trainings will be planned in 2024, are you interested?
