Through our experienced metallurgical engineers, we can provide support and advice in the implementation of a process control system in foundries. Furthermore, we advise on individual metallurgical topics and problems such as shrinkage and carbide tendency, graphite degeneration.
We analyse the problems in cooperation with the customer and develop an approach for an optimal solution.
As laboratory services we offer metallographic analyses of cast iron with modules for GJS, GJV and GJL.
Our in-house image analysis software Micr-O-Phase enables the determination of various parameters such as nodularity, particle density, particle distribution and size, determination of pearlite and ferrite content as well as the classification of the microstructure according to EN ISO 945.
